Which country should the U.S. invade next?
Doing things half-assed is nothing new for the city of Seattle. Who can forget the marketing campaign to come up with Seattle's new slogan, "metro-natural?" What was the problem with "Jet City" or even "Emerald City," for that matter? $200,000 seems like a hefty price tag for a tag line that will undoubtedly be scrapped once a new generation of civic leaders realizes just how lame it is. Now, the numbskulls in charge have shown once again how short-sighted they are with the design concept of a new 520 Bridge that would exclude a light rail line. Although a state-run project, the idea of allowing ourselves to limit our future transportation options to traditional motorized vehicles makes about as much sense as investing in a monorail system
